We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Sales — Lucky’s first — to join our growing team of 8.
What we’re building
We’ve flipped traditional commerce enablement on its head by reimagining the omnichannel relationship between brands and retailers. Today, brands and retailers compete for customers. If the retailer wins, the brand loses (and vice versa).
With Lucky, we enable retailers and eCommerce brands to work together to get products to consumers faster, leading to a better retail experience for everyone involved - brand, retailer, and consumer.
Who we are
Sneh, Cofounder / CEO.
Retail & consumer purchasing behavior expert. 3 years driving consumer behavior efforts at leading agency; helped launch a $20M VC fund/accelerator.

Product & UX expert. Built successful agency; led product and engineering efforts at companies ranging from VC-backed startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

Full-stack software engineer with a focus on commerce; previously, software engineer at Amazon.
We’ve raised significant funding from top VCs and executives in our space (Unusual Ventures, Plug and Play, among many others) and are dually headquartered in New York City and Miami.
How you’ll add value
We’re early in our journey, and there is a lot a to build. Over the past 6 months, we’ve seen increased demand within our core segment. This is validated by our key retail partnerships, which - literally - open the door to hundreds of new clients who we know will see immediate value in the Lucky platform.
As Head of Sales, you’ll take charge of our Go-to-Market strategy, and partner directly with our founding team as we iterate towards product market fit. While you’ll focus primarily on selling into digitally native brands (our ideal customer) with retail distribution, you’ll also help extract value from partnerships with retailers, distributors, and other channel partners to drive volume in customer acquisition. You will become the spokesperson of Lucky in industry-sales settings such as conferences to generate high-value leads. You’ll work alongside our founders to close our most strategic deals and manage a pipeline of brands that create huge returns for Lucky’s growth.
Here are some examples of things you’ll do in the next 6 to 9 months to help spearhead our success:
Build top of funnel sales outreach and generate a growing pipeline of brands from a known list of potential customers.
Manage pipeline — from earliest touchpoint through successful implementation, optimizing for conversion at every stage.
Build momentum for our sales culture within Lucky.
Closing and activating customers with the founders.
Define and enforce our early pricing model.
Analyze and help us initiate high-ROI marketing activities
Build and utilize case studies for validation and sales proof
Support building a predictable revenue model and forecasting with founders
Explore hiring plan and sales team structure for next phase of growth

Rich experience building sales momentum and substantial pipeline within a growing sales organization.
A hands-on mentality, and a do-it-yourself-first approach. While keeping immediate execution top of mind, you also understand the importance of building for the long-term (Ie. playbooks which will come in handy as your team scales).

Proven experience optimizing CRMs to achieve maximum engagement with customers.

Experience within a high-growth, results-driven startup organization.
Nice to haves
Demonstrable experience working directly with e-commerce, commerce tech, and/or the retail ecosystem.

Our Compensation Philosophy & Benefits
As compared to other well-funded, Seed and Series-A Startups, we aim to pay at-market for cash compensation and well above market for equity compensation. As we set out to build the next great eCommerce tech company, we want you to be acutely aware that a successful outcome can be life-changing for you.
