Founding Head of Sales
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Sales — Lucky’s first — to join our growing team of 8.
What we’re building
We’ve flipped traditional commerce enablement on its head by reimagining the omnichannel relationship between brands and retailers. Today, brands and retailers compete for customers. If the retailer wins, the brand loses (and vice versa).
With Lucky, we enable retailers and eCommerce brands to work together to get products to consumers faster, leading to a better retail experience for everyone involved - brand, retailer, and consumer.
Who we are
Sneh, Cofounder / CEO.
Retail & consumer purchasing behavior expert, with 3 years as consumer behavior lead at an agency, and helped launch $20M VC fund/accelerator.
Nafis, Cofounder / CPO.
Product & UX expert, with experience building a successful agency managing product and engineering for VC-backed startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
Long, Software Engineering Lead.
Engineering expert and previous VP of Engineering at AxleHire, same-day delivery startup raising over $30M+.
Nick, Software Engineer.
Full-stack software engineer with a focus on commerce, previously software engineer at Amazon.
We’ve raised significant funding from top VCs and executives in our space (Unusual Ventures, Plug and Play, among many others) and are dually headquartered in New York City and Miami.
How you’ll add value
We’re early in our journey, and there is a lot a to build. Over the past 6 months, we’ve seen increased demand within our core segment. This is validated by two key partnerships, which - literally - open the door to hundreds of new clients who we know will see immediate value in the Lucky platform.
As Head of Sales, you’ll take charge of our Go-to-Market strategy, and partner directly with our founding team as we iterate towards product market fit. While you’ll focus primarily on selling into digitally native brands (our ideal customer) with retail distribution, you’ll also direct partnerships with retailers, distributors, and other channel partners to drive volume in customer acquisition. You’ll work alongside Sneh to close our most strategic deals, drive both a short and medium-term Sales vision, and be tasking with growing, leading, and managing our growing Sales team.
Here are some examples of things you’ll do in the next 6 to 9 months to help spearhead our success:
Build top of funnel sales outreach and generate pipeline of brands
Nurture leads over all phases of the sales process to launch
Hire and manage our team of AEs and SDRs as we scale
Set the sales culture and standard for productivity within Lucky
Take ownership over massive success in sales effort to push our company and product goals forward

Rich experience building sales momentum and substantial pipeline within a growing Sales organization.
A hands-on mentality, and a do-it-yourself-first approach. While keeping immediate execution top of mind, you also understand the importance of building for the long-term (Ie. playbooks which will come in handy as your team scales).

Proven experience optimizing CRMs to achieve maximum engagement with customers.

Experience leading a highly productive group of sales executives.

Demonstrable experience working directly with e-commerce, commerce tech, and/or the retail ecosystem.

Our Compensation Philosophy & Benefits
As compared to other well-funded, Seed and Series-A Startups, we aim to pay at-market for cash compensation and well above market (75% to 95%) for equity compensation. As we set out to build the next great eCommerce tech company, we want you to be acutely aware that a successful outcome can be life-changing for you.

We’ll pay for you to get together with the rest of our team numerous times per year.
