Lucky is a VC-backed startup that enables DTC brands to leverage their existing inventory across any retailer to fulfill same day. We are transforming the omnichannel ecosystem for brands and retailers. Today, brands and retailers compete to capture customers and the fulfillment ecosystem is broken. With Lucky, brands and retailers can finally partner and provide the best fulfillment experience to consumers.
This role is indispensable. We're looking for you to provide examples of challenges tackled in previous roles - namely, what worked and what didn't. Below you'll see the experience we deem to be necessary — but we appreciate that everyone solves problems differently and are open to meeting candidates with varied backgrounds.
What You'll Be Doing
Work directly with a passionate and relationship-oriented founding team.
Dive deep into our product and generate outbound campaigns for our well-defined customer profile.
Turn leads lists into a functional CRM.
Conduct sales discovery with an eye for both the close and a successful onboarding and retention.
Develop and manage the sales pipeline, while updating forecasts and tracking/optimizing against KPIs.
Establish relationships with leadership and decision makers across all relevant brands.
Explore partnership opportunities for brand acquisition with relevant retailers and ecommerce organizations.
Clearly communicate the value of our Omnichannel tool.
Take a high-touch approach to onboarding all customers.
Take ownership of onboarding and integration timelines.
Collect key product data from customers in order to help facilitate product growth, operational improvements, and development of new use cases.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of full-cycle sales experience within fast-growing tech startups.
Early-stage sales experience, to that extent that you can recognize and iterate on creative ideas to accelerate revenue growth.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
A track record of over-achievement and consistent quota attainment.
A positive and open-minded attitude.
Strong presentation skills.
An entrepreneurial mindset, and the specific willingness (not just the ability) to become a true product expert.
Authentic excitement for stewarding customers from initial engagement, through onboarding, and on to long-term retention.
Bonus points: demonstrable experience working directly with Shopify, e-commerce, and/or the retail ecosystem. We also place a premium on SaaS experience within a successful sales organization.
